The Art of Sara Jaffe

Sara Jaffe’s passion for the visual arts began even before she could walk. Nary a wall, piece of furniture or school uniform were safe from her "artistic touch." She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and after graduating from Trinity College in Connecticut with honors in Theatre and Dance, Sara moved to Washington, DC to raise corporate dollars for Shakespeare Theatre's artistic, education and community outreach programs. In 2001 she took a year off to paint abstract and landscape pieces from the roof of her Woodley Park apartment. During that time she re-energized her zeal for painting and continues painting and sketching as a way to reflect, relax and emote. Sara is proud to balance a life as an artist while spending most of her time as Director of Development of the illustrious Signature Theatre, and as the "Group" in David Ostroff Design Group.
